It stated clearly she kissed his hip, pretty sure. The scene later even showed him gesturing at his side with his hand after the subsequent conversation between them.

Edit: Anyway, I really do find this approach to this classic trope to be novel, like I said in the last chapter comments. I mean, how often do you see the violent tsun protect the male lead from being discovered in these situations? I kinda feel like that's uncharacteristic of the character archetype. They even did a good job of explaining why it happened, why she's protecting him, as well as just how high the stakes were if he was found on so many levels, while also keeping the comedy rolling. And there was even an accidental kiss on his person involved. Kissing his hip is still pretty sensual, whether it was an accident or not. It also means she arguably has kissed him, so it's something to tell the girls that seem so eager for juicy details, even if she can't give them specifics on where, how, why, etc...

I read this moment as pretty significant character and relationship growth for both of them, when normally a 'hot springs incident' is just pure filler gags and fan service and gets glossed over moving forward.
