This whole scenario... it got animated as the first half of episode 5 of season 2, and is one of the things that added to my dislike of Marika. It's not because she has bad grades, it's because of all the tricks and schemes she's using that just feel so messed up with little consideration for her own future. As if nothing else matters besides being with Raku, regardless of how he feels about her. He's just a nice guy. He's not doing these things because he likes her. Hell, he largely feels annoyed by her, far more than he ever was with Chitoge.
She feels like an annoying parasite that's latched herself onto the group, feeding off them for sustenance to stave off whatever illness she's suffering from.
But there's probably something gravely wrong with her. Sadly, her personality feels so warped, I struggle to feel sorry for her about whatever illness afflicts her.
Also, the second half of S2E5 that this came from was even worse ... The whole parrot thing was just more fuel to the fire of me despising Marika.
She really is so insufferable.
