Actually, it might be a good idea to let Haru keep the trinket. The trinket will be safe with her. Looks like she treasures it more than Raku does and won't lose it even once (Raku has already lost this trinket three times if not more).

Well, after the first season, the anime started skipping around a lot.
Also... why didn't he just admit he saved her this second time? It's not like it would have necessarily connected him to the first incident and thus resulted in the destruction of the pendant. Was such a weird leap of logic, to be honest.
