Well dang, this some pretty spicy stuff. Though I really am surprised the anime didn't cover this at all. Were they just planning to never adapt the story past season 1 (and/or completely end it at season 2) or save it for a later date? Weird.
Either way, I'm really liking where this is going.

This should have taken place during Season 2, since season 2 stories are scattered all around when this arc takes place in the anime, which should have been done in two episodes, same as the mother arc, but maybe they were worried about overloading the 12-episode season with plot-heavy episodes.

To clarify, a chapter after this arc, number 93, was adapted into the first half of episode 11 of season 2, and there's a few more stories from later chapters that got into that season, including the one with that damn dirty parrot of Marika's. It was funny, in a way, but it really did add fuel to my already building distaste for her character.

Also, shit... Chitoge hit with the 'you're not the specific girl I'm remembering'. But... she's still the one that's been making the most progress with him, and the Raku in this state seems far more in tune with his true feelings, in my opinion.

The way he reacts particularly warmly to Chitoge, more so than he does even to Kosaki, really is telling about how Raku actually feels, to me.

Also, I guess it really might be two copies of the picture book? I was kinda hoping it was one, but with missing pages, I guess it makes sense for it to be this way.
