So...is the harem of girls that get hurt and killed over time (presumably to lull people into helping them and getting cornered in the process) in this zombie world the Dark Knight's idea or Dahlia's idea?

Is that just some contractual step she needs to fulfill to keep him on her side?

Dahlia as the villain just makes this whole set-up so goddamn weird and confusing...

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately the quality of this chapter reduces significantly compared to the previous chapters. This is because I get the raws from mangagun thanks to some of you for letting me know, but I can't seem to save the pages so instead, I screenshot every page one by one hence the downgrade in resolution. I wonder if anyone knows a way to save the raw there so I can maintain its qualities. Thank you again everyone!

Rawkuma has the chapters downloadable, less work at last.

Honestly it gets worse because that's the style of the narrative. Since this seems more like the author didn't spend much time in changing the story any from it's previous iteration. Art is a lot more amatuerish in the previous one and the ending is pretty open ended, almost as if the author didn't intend to end it.

The author is one of those who believe the audience shouldn't learn what is common sense or common knowledge about the world via explaination from the characters as that's not very realistic. You don't stop brushing your teeth, look at imaginary fourth wall and explain why you are brushing your teeth after all.

A good version of this style can be found in the story "Shadown Slave." But even in that one, it can be frustrating in the beginning as so much is left unsaid.
Except they do over explain everything else. Ideally you seamlessly weave in these worldbuilding details without a clunky narration or characters just vomiting up what should be obvious to everyone present.
