Why do people think he can return to Japan did y'all forget that he killed himself.
This point here. The reason the MC even went on this murderous rampage was due to him both being denied the escape of death he sought via suicide and then having more torture tossed upon him in this world. Outside of some notion of keeping the friends he’s made in the new world alive and happy, MC has zero reason to even want to return to Earth.

And the revenge plot isn’t over. His classmates still live. They’re the original causes of the misery that pushed him to suicide. He has no reason to allow them a way back home.

Furthermore, there’s no reason to truly believe the dead royals were telling the truth about the demons anyways.

Well, who is going to manage all those schoolmates now? The country was rotten yes but, now those kids have no one and they were reliant on the country, and that is bad news.

He probably will be able to find about that with bis abyss magic or when he meets the reversal guy (I cant remember the name, the one who gave him the reversal magic)
or maybe he can just used the method of summoning new hero and used reversal spell to reverse the effect of summoning a hero. Instead of summoning, it should send him back to Japan.

Considering the level of mass murder they always do to summon heros and the torture, I wouldnt feel bad at all. Now if his feeling is cause of the magic used and that efdects him mentally thats a different question.

Sometimes death is the only realistic or viable solution.

Asking yourself if it was the only solution is absolutely normal and proper... unless your humanity has been surgically removed, or something.

But it's a question you'll try to answer for the rest of your life.

And that's normal.

Good writing with that part, at least...

looking back (cuz the recent chapter release and I entirely forgot which semi-generic banished/revenge isekai this was) the end of the chapter was very sobering. He certainly had his reasons, and they may have been justified, but there is responsibility in the actions you take. MC was flooded with his rage at what happened to him which dulled his empathy and morality, and at the last page of the chapter he's woken up from it.

Acting on emotion alone is dangerous, no matter what, and it often leads to regret. Smthn to keep in mind I guess.

I feel like he probably killed a bunch of his classmates, when the staff used it's void magic. After all it said stuff like "it erases things that you want gone", so yeah :')
