You said it all, go pookie go👏👏ugh the fact that haejoon is trying to be the bigger person because not only is violence a real crime as an adult, but it's so childish and makes you look like a child throwing a tantrum. eunyung explains that some people don't actually care, they hurt others and they don't care what happens to them, even if they killed someone. eunyung has gotten involved with them before and at that moment, haejoon says that he doesn't want to be involved with people like them. In a way, whether he means it or not, but that includes Eunyung. because it is Eunyung who gets caught up in crowds like that. Again, we see how Haejoon sees himself in Eunyung and he sees the ugliness and he hates it. By extension, he takes it out on Eunyung whether he realizes it or not.
And something ironic is that Eunyung, in some way, kinda looks up to Haejoon. I mean if you re-read the whole series, it's Haejoon that makes Eunyung want to be a better person. He stabs Haejoon and tries to make up for it by making him breakfast and cleaning their beat up dorm. Eunyung helps clear Haejoon's name when people think he's a bully. Eunyung gets a job to repay Haejoon. Eunyung actually tries to stop shoplifting due to Haejoon's insistence. He points out when Haejoon seems hypocritical, the times he berates Eunyung for things he's done before, but in the end, he still looks up to Haejoon in some way. because if he didn't, we would he do the things Haejoon says? let Haejoon act as his moral compass sometimes?
So what i'm saying is that I think Eunyung is especially mad because once again Haejoon is rejecting him. It's becoming harder to ignore that he looks down on Eunyung and it's hard to watch because you understand how both feel.
