I'm gonna assume the dudes he's staying with this time are actually good people, it's nice he at least had trustworthy adults who could take him in this time. I don't think Eunyung should be obligated to explain his living situation/why he's not with his parents to Haejoon (especially since Eunyung deliberately tried to separate himself from him), but at the same time with his history, Haejoon is gonna automatically think the worst unless given an actual explanation

I was thinking that this arc was gonna deal with both Haejoon's and Eunyung's problems, as in their attempts to stay out of fights and get closer to respectable adulthood, but now I'm thinking it's gonna be more centered in Haejoon's big brother complex with Eunyung, if we can call it that. He's getting really pushy in his attempts to keep Eunyung from going bad, to the point that it's getting weird. You're not his actual brother, Haejoon… I wonder whether this has some crazy connection with his own traumas, like the last time they fought.

it's so heartbreaking seeing the ways eunyung has already given up on his life, what with the whole "my dream is to die as soon as i turn 20" thing. like... saying things like "it's not like i'm gonna go to college" hit different, y'know... and even if he hadn't said that, he's already resigned himself to being a "failure," like something "normal" and "successful" like going to college is impossible for "someone like him"... it also calls to mind how much he's fixated on "i'm never gonna change" (makes sense considering how much it's been drilled into his head by everyone around him that this is all his life is ever going to be)
