I can't stand this spineless woman. Even random villagers and children have more determination than her. I suppose like Ken, she's swept up in the cult of personality of these larger than life historical figures they've aligned with, but even when he made friends among the Takeda clan, Ken never waivered. Also she never thinks anything through. Ken has brain damage and Kashin is delusional, but they both think about where they're going and what comes next. She just pouts and bakes cookies.

She probably failed her Japanese history classes.

Honestly, using popcorn/rice puffs to deal with Kashin was the most perfect way to end this arc. Kashin's consistently been shown to be a spineless, self-serving slimeball, to the point where a literal child is able to call his bluff. When put in a situation where his own life is actually in danger, he could never have the resolve to see his actions through. Of course, Ken would never actually endanger anybody. He's not a violent person, he's a chef. So he deals with him the way he always has: by cooking. And boy, did Ken cook, and so did the author.

Hm so history now has fully changed. This was the point where Nobunaga died irl so from now on Ken and Nobunaga are in uncharted territory.
Completely different events; that would be Honno-ji. Well, Samurai Warriors did usually depict this battle as where Nobunaga got shot by a sniper.

I thought the Oda was outnumbered; how did they push the monk armies and their gunners back? After forcing their way to enter the fort, the numbers of men that will be shot at when they sally out should've been considerable.
outplayed by a fuckin popcorn :kek:

Tama is absolutely badass while the confectionery girl is getting more unlikeable. what do you want, woman??? :shamihuh:
Stop and save the fake-monk, at worst turn the tide of war from winning to stalemate like before.
