I guess even Ken can't change history. Though, this makes a very depressing picture for the future and Ken's effect on history. Each and every milestone thus approached by Nobunaga's advance to power has occurred according to normal history; no matter how much Ken tries, he probably won't be able to keep Nobunaga from dying.

Maybe the story is supposed to follow the idea that since Ken went back in time, then Ken was already there when history originally happened.

Maybe Ken causes Nobunaga's fall in the end.

Ken managed to protect Nobunaga from a bullet while historically , Nobunaga is gravely wounded because of it. So he can change the story.

This manga is really good actually . Even after 19 tome, it's still interesting because of Ken and Nobunaga . Cant wait for tome 20.

I absolutely love this manga, but for the life of me I can't figure out why it's so low on priority for the scanslators. It's got a massive amount of good available raws (from the current point in English) and the language/terms aren't necessarily very difficult (beyond some gastronomic and historical terminology that's easily looked up). Yet it still takes months in-between releases compared to their other series.

That's why chapters come very slowly. I really like the manga Addicted to curry, same problem here (and it's 500 chapters long..ah)

Sizeable watermarks ontop of the panels in every page as if they own the artwork on display, and 6+ credits, recruitment and BS pages with EVERY. SINGLE. RELEASE. when they could do it in one, two pages absolute maximum and could put the watermarks in the white margins.
If they want / need new recruits, doing everything they can to piss off the majority of those potential new recruits is not doing them any favours at all.

You probably read all the way to the end of the series by now, but...later on, it was revealed that the people of this era have different values. The kids probably would have ended up agreeing and being happy with their dad's decision when they eventually grow up. We modern people will probably never understand and think it's stupid, but that's supposedly how people's mindset were like back then. Or at least, according to the author.
