@iamtherealbeethoven He repeatedly mentioned that he knows what happened in history but does not want to say anything so that history does not change. For me that mindset is most boring. He wasn't sent back to the past to be an audience, he was sent to make changes.

@MrMedoMan I think the fact that he isn’t trying to change history distinguished him. However, he does eventually try to do something that changes history. Keep reading if you want to find out (because I have no idea how to use the spoiler button.)

@iamtherealbeethoven I am up to chapter 95, so far its still only 6/10, He has no resolve and doesn't try to change much at all. I might as well go back and read history if i wanted to know about nobunaga. The writer unfortunately doesn't have the convection to change the timeline and start his own original ideas.

I can recommend Sengoku Komachi Kurou Tan!. It's similar to this but with an FL. She's not suffering from selective amnesia, and helps make future tech and uses her knowledge to help Oda.
