I don't know what this actually solves, though? Viviana could just "give up" the crown prince to her friend without any real consequences, couldn't she? Word doesn't really have time to spread amongst the nobility about the change in fiancees before the condemnation event, anyway. How does this stop Viviana from condemning her older sister's misdeeds? It feels like it would even strengthen Viviana's chances to "give up" the engagement to apologize for her older sister's behavior?
