Gib moar chapter
Her family might like her but to uphold their reputation it doesn't mean they won't drop her like a hot potato. XD couldn't help myself there. They are still of the mindset to set up engagements for their kids regardless of their feelings.Wait so I know in game everyone abandoned her but it looks like in real life her family at least cares for her and wouldn't abandon her, minus the sister. And the other royals are also on her side, some bullying cant be a reason to dissolve a royal engagement completely when everyone knows the other girl is seducing all the other noble boys around her? Plus they said the other noble ladies don't like potato girl so how do the royals plan on keeping the nobles support if all the daughters finance or potential bachelors have been stolen away in that terrible worship potato ending?
I think in this case it's more like the lesser evil than a victim. Neither is "innocent" or "good".I kinda don't like this trope to be honest; the idea that the villainess was right the entire time and the heroine was evil.
Like, in the canon of those works, the villainesses were actually horrible people even without targetting the heroine and the heroine is loved because she's a good person.
Those were stories to give hope that good can surpass evil.
And I liked the OG trope where the new person gets into the villainess' body at the start and changes everything and then befriends the heroine character much better than this cheap "deconstruction" where the heroine was always the bad guy and the villainess was the real victim BS....
But in these stories, he's not meant to be... see the issue??? This genre is basically a twisted deconstruction... but the issue is that it's changing the cores of what these characters are and only keeping the events.I think in this case it's more like the lesser evil than a victim. Neither is "innocent" or "good".
Alexandra did mess with the heroine out of jealousy. The heroine was bullied(just by lots of people instead of just one).
If anyone sucks I'd say it's the Prince. He falls for stupid tricks easily. Not good for a future king.
I'm okay with either side as long as they bring something new to the table.
Though I can say with absolutely certainty that I'm tired of reverse harems. And when it includes the heroine, they become even more annoying...
just around 24 hoursThis series has 2 volumes already? Just how much story can you squeeze in a single day?
