Executing him on the spot would had been preferable, shows how far you will go as to survive, sends a clear message to potato girl and eliminates any chance for him to escape confinement
I wonder how the reincarnation works. What happened to the original Potato girl? Did she regain her previous lifes memories and just completely change personality, or did the original personality/soul go elsewhere? The villainess seems to at least feel like she's no different from the original persona, just with the memories and knowledge to put her situation in perspective. I have to assume Potato girl is the same I suppose. Awoke to her previous lifes knowledge and her personality changed but is still technically the same person/soul.
Thanks for the advice, I'm a solo scan, so I'm currently doing my best. Unfortunately I don't have Photoshop so I'm currently making do with Paint.net which is not ideal at all. I'll keep what you say in mind however.
You can contact me on discord @ AnkCarson if you need advice or help with the raws before you work on them, I can even offer some basic redrawing for the pages if they're easy enough, too. I don't really do manga scans anymore, but I'm pretty active as a doujin(18+) scanner.

Has already been answered. In this WN, Big OG Potato would potentially have acted differently. Potentially. But her OG soul has been entwined with Potato Girl so long that she's gone yandere for her isekai'd self.
It's fun, nonetheless, to see the variations in WNs on this subject. Sometimes, the soul is already gone, poof. Sometimes, the soul switched with the isekai'd protag (hoo boy, that's a can'o'worms waiting to happen.) In one, the soul is switched out, until either somebody notices the person is different (which brings them back) or the OG soul just... Dies away. And sometimes, they're still inside, which can either be horrifying, wholesome, or, well... Different to both of those. I'd highly recommend The One Within The Villainess for this last one, specifically the WN, because the souls swapped positions twice inside the body.
The manga's good too, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't fully get across her thought processes, and shows that while the isekai'd soul affected Emilia positively, she is definitely still a villainess in the truest sense of the word.

But if she did that, then Potatette could perhaps try to pull something else within the remaining 4 hours. It's best to let her be like a frog in a slowly warming pot. Elia's going to be safely locked up in jail before his execution, anyway. Gotta do stuff the mildly legal route, especially with so many civilian witnesses to his arrest.
Just wondering if the MC doesn't specify for assassination and tell the rogue he can kidnap the heroine and run somewhere the MC can say she's out of her hair what would he do?
