Thanks for the chapter. As for the question at the end of whether to translate or leave onsen, manju and shoyu. I would for sure leave manju, as while yes they are a type of steamed buns, that isnt a direct one for one and loses the specificness of what they are. Were as onsen and shoyu have exact translations of hot spring and soy sauce. Its up to you ultimately, I would translate shoyu for sure, as while many know its a sauce a fair number will assume its not soy sauce but just another sauce, but onsen is one of those that many are used to, so you could just decided based on which sounds better.

半分が優しさで出来た薬より certainly is a bit tricky. The literal translation you used is correct, but it doesn't sound good in English. It doesn't seem to be a regular Japanese expression (at least, I've never heard it before), but the sense I get is that it's similar in tone to the Mary Poppins song lyric, "a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down". So, with that in mind, I might suggest using one of these translations:

  • "You're all like the spoonful of sugar that makes the medicine go down."
  • "You're all as sweet as a spoonful of sugar."

MC's job is to input large amounts of data? How does that work? Does it mean he works as a scanner?
Maybe it's a mistranslation, and he's a data scientist working with large amount of data?

What I have was the literal translation of the raws. But I do think the way I phrase it is a bit weird. I'll definitely change it to somewhere along the lines of Tsugumi being a data entry clerk, since that job would fit more within the context of the raws.

Cunny. Also the game doesn't censor feet? And you can even undress other players?!?!?!? I'm not into feet but undressing a kemonomimi loli sounds like a great time.

They don't want to give people ideas.

It is not clear how much of a "great time" the game allows, but undressing other players (even if it's with their consent) sounds unusual for a game. Maybe it's classified as stealing?

while indeed shoyu is a (type of) soy sauce, there's actually another type of soy sauce which is the sweet kind (shoyu is salty)
from western view point maybe it's not that important but for us who have both soy sauce the distinction is kinda important

so I vote to leave it as onsen/manju/shoyu

Shoyu isn't specifically a certain type as its just the general term for all Japanese types of soysauce, light version being usukuchi or dark koikuchi. So it doesn't really tell us the specific type as is, just that its not the Chinese version, which its anime, everyone will assume its the Japanese version. I am unclear if there is sweet type in japan, or if that is only a Chinese version.
Part of what made me say change it is I myself just never realized that it was soy sauce, I knew it was a sauce, I knew it was commonly used, but I figured it was ether a variant of soy sauce or just another sauce. It was so casually used that I just never thought about it to look it up till now.
