welcome back! i mean, mc clearly has issues but i wonder if she would've blended in better and had more of a fake normalcy if she had grown up in the west or so (not that 'weird girls' can't be ostracized there but some places encourage individuality more unless she'd just also be mocked for being "#notlikeothergirls"/coming off as a 'pickme' or whatever they're called)
