this one doesn't operate under the 'it does what you imagine it' logic of others. As for how it is-
They transform part of your skin to match a specific god's and each time the markings from that grows/expands you get a new ability of that god, becoming more and more like them. No matter what he thinks his first spell JUST lets him increase the effect of gravity on himself and what he's touching. He can't rethink it into changing the direction of gravity or something, he'd have to further the transformation and get a new spell to do that. She'd have to do the same to get past her restrictions.

Different universes use different rules. Some can throw a fireball, some can only heat things up. Teapot Hero literally boils "water" so if she doesn't like your face and has a bottle of wine in hand... well, that just turned into a super-heated drink and you must be super thirsty after talking so much! She gets a hold of you physically, and she can boil the blood and water inside you and go waaay past just 3rd degree burns by melting body parts off of you. "Yuwakashi Yuusha no Fukushuutan" or "The Tale of the Teapot Hero's Revenge"

Trying to remember what story it was but the gravity user could give people blood clots or just cause their organs to get crushed by increasing the weight of the flesh and bone around them. I think there was one case she increased the weight of someone's heart by several times and it ripped loose and literally fell out of them... there was also an incident involving a micro-black hole generated inside of a canteen so people wouldn't steal her water. Anyone else put their face up to it and they were sucked into the black hole.
