Oh no, not the dreaded "oops, I changed the plot in a way that prevents a crucial plot point from happening in the future, I need to fix it!" trope. Come on, can't you just believe that the future you created might be better than the original story? Or that maybe she'll find some other way to meet the prince?

eh,it's actually reasonable,the circumstances blanche met the prince were very,very specefic and by pure chance,finding another way to meet the prince and falling in love would be a very optimistic guess.

also blanche marriage to the prince was out of love in a setting filled with loveless political marriages,it was a dreamlike ending and potentially ruining that for her is enough reason to ger worried.

so basically the probabily that she screwed up is far higher than not which is why it's normal to get worried,believing everything will be finebis like putting your head into sand.also you make it sound like it's negative trope while imo it's a necessary one for the characters to have,we as readers usually see that everything turn out fine but for the characters they obviously won't see it as such.
