I noticed that in https://mangadex.org/title/17327/bukiyou-na-silent the chapter "Fanbook Special" appears at the end of the manga's chapter-listing on it's front page, but shows up first in the reader. (Where it shows up on the front page seems to be the intended order, to the extent that that matters)

This inconsistent ordering has the unfortunate side-effect that if you clicks on the first chapter on the manga's front page, and then, say, reading through the manga until you "run out of chapters" and are brought back to the front page again, you will miss that un-numbered chapter completely.

It feels like the ordering should be more consistent here...?

The chapter listing order on the manga pages is dumb and I probably should've fixed that ages ago already. I'll make it mimic the reader ordering sooner or later.

not sure if related btw @Teasday but I was reading https://mangadex.org/chapter/121836/1 (Fenglin Tianxia) when i noticed some chapters have 2 group option on the reader list...both exactly the same group who was doing that chapter (RMT). eg: on Vol 2 Ch 31, clicking the other identical "Readmanga" link on the chapter listing will display the exact same pages but labeled as Vol 4 ch 72 (the last chapter). clicking directly to ch31 from the main hub list would sometimes (?) do the same thing too. note that not all chapters are affected, but looks to me that it's a bug and not a deliberate thing

@Wolvenworks Yeah, if there are two chapters with the same number and by the same group, the reader doesn't like it at all and starts doing weird things. I'll have to fix it some day, although people shouldn't be uploading the same chapter twice anyway.

@Teasday uh....for this specific case, there's only one of em? i'm not seeing duplicates on the main hub ch list. the issue is only on the reader, and so far i've only seen this issue for this manhua. very consistently too

The other one was deleted. There were several duplicates.
