Wow, a male lead that has two living parents and isn't some ruthless brooding orphan with too much weight on his shoulders? Now I'm convinced it's something new!
I mean, he's still cold and very suspicious of her, but you gotta admit he has every right to be, since Edith comes from an extremely shady family and probably doesn't boast the best reputation herself.
Reeze looks like your typical "innocent flower" kind of girl, which probably puts her in the second largest group for original story heroines (the first one being "malicious scheming bitches", of course). Unfortunately, it's not often that we see heroines questioning their morals, or being genuinely uncomfortable with the reverse harems they build, or even having any normal human flaws at all. Either they truly are the purest of angels, or so cartoonishly evil you kinda have to accept it as a genre staple.
And if you're wondering why I'm so fixated on putting labels on everything and everyone, well, that's because this manhwa claims to be somewhat defying the genre. We can only guess how far it truly strays from the very tropes it's calling out.
