That Is weird but i get the feeling that he may not fully understand it OR at the vary least he believes that Edith believes it and he always doubted her so now he will be on her side no matter what she says or believes.

Also F**k the author! she could have been seen as a sympathetic figure in when she first got sent to the world but as soon as she started to killing the Ediths she lost all sympathy....

The author replaced her and lived her story.
But once she married Cliff, the story reset and it started again and again until I think it drove her a little more crazy.
She tried to break the story herself at first, but gave up when it kept getting put back on the same path.
About then is when she started pulling other people in to be Edith.

I'm still curious how edith even became aware of the story, and even more curious how she was able to do that weird stuff, like bringing in others and such.

I think the original story played through as written the first time.
Then somehow the original Edith's spirit gained enough access to the system to summon the author in to become Reeze because she wanted her to see what she had done by making the original Edith's back story and fate so terrible.
But that didn't work and the author-Reeze just went ahead with the story as written.
The problem was that the story resets once Reeze marries Cliff and starts again.
After it runs through that way a few times, author-Reeze tries to change the story by picking Killian instead of Cliff, but the story makes him turn her down, saying he only sees her as a sister.
I think it might be at that point the story breaks enough to give the author-Reeze access to the system.
The original Edith hides herself away, and the author-Reeze starts bringing in the spirits of others to be Edith, constantly manipulating things so the outcome is always the same as some sort of perverse game.
It is only when the last Edit (number 13) beats all the conditions that author Reeze loses control of the system and can no longer manipulate people.
At that point the world and the people in it are free and the story stops resetting.

I mean, if I was randomly hearing constant whispers telling me to hate my wife whenever I start to feel affection for her and she tells me I'm a character in a book I'd just assume I'm suffering a serious mental issue causing me to hear weird shit, but I guess for a more superstitious people in the same context they'd be more willing to believe it due to the ideas of fate ordained by outside factors being a REAL part of their perception of reality

I meant where did the original Reeze go? The original Edith was there. Also rather than going mad, the author started enjoying the story, that's why she tried to repeat the story multiple times. She did not want any of the Edith to have a happy ending like Reeze does and it was the original Edith who summoned all those people to possess Edith.
