Well, it's not that it doesn't work in a manga format, but it doesn't work more in a weekly format.

I read this author's other work... and frankly, when you can binge it, it works great... but it's terrible for the cliff hanger stuff...

We need the emotional follow through but the real time slows things down.

I could see her willingly doing it to make amends for what she did, while also working towards her own revenge with his help.


Wonder if his Childhood friend will ever be brought into the mix too.
multiple way she could be brought up or brought into the plot to make things more interesting.
hate the short chapters but that's Manga for you, not everything can be like 30-40 pages long
