There’s an anime called “Ningen Fushin“. In that anime, a popular ship would be the leader with the dragon… in a very similar vein, shipping this mc and the main yankee is nice :3

I've read the whole thing myself. I don't see why it's so bad. It's not like it happened overnight for him. The whole point here is that part of healing is letting go of your past, and that means letting go of whatever bad feelings you had about people in your past.

And as a very light spoiler to your spoiler, he didn't exactly become chummy with any of them. He just freed himself from the power they all had on him, partly because all the girls genuinely regret what they did to him in the past, and they found the exact right way to express it; they stopped begging for forgiveness, they backed off and stopped forcing their guilt on him.

It started out as an okay read... but after the scene with all the girls who "did the MC wrong" gathered together to sing his praises behind the scenes, I basically got a gist of what type of story it was going to be and that spoiler more-or-less solidies that point.

The first chapters were decent, mc is annoying, fmc deserved some backstory but she didn't get one in the end, you can read chapter 1 and jump to chapter 19, nothing special in between.

The cringe is painful. The story isn't well-written and it feels like someone's first attempt at a novel. I liked the first few chapters, but after a while it becomes painful to read. Someone could probably find value in this manga, but I just didn't like it.

Overall, a pretty good read. I absolutely liked how there was proper closure. The MC didn't just kept grudges or holding onto the past. He was able to let go and get proper closure with the other girls. Him forgiving them and moving on was a very important step for his happiness. I do think it would have been nice to get Anri's backstory as well(we got a little glimpse, but not much). I'd give this a 7/10. Short read, but with an ending I am satisfied with.

Just finished it. Decent short romance story. Could have been more fleshed out which I am sure the light novel/web novel does a better job at but it was still an enjoyable read. I see some people are upset the MC forgives the girls who mistreated him in the past but I think it's fine. Forgiveness and moving on is a sign of strong character and change for the good. The two love interests develop into a sweet couple and better people because they are able to move on from their past experiences.

i know what you mean, they are trying to act like one, so we should treat our family well and cheerish them. since its unrelated by blood it would hurt less than the real one tho.
in my experience, all i did is forgive and forget even truth of the event remain hanging postpone until now i dont give a fuck anymore.
i feel bad for our MC here but he is lucky and having a good ending in the end

I like this manga to be honest the part when the girls got together was hard to read, I usually would like more revenge for the MC but for some reason for me it feel like it’s more realistic in a way. But overall love the beginning the middle and ending .
