I've seen mutiple of these regular old mc x idol secret or not bullshit romance and this ones gota be one of the worst openings I've seen seeing as its only 2 chapters but still

I don't know man. Like I mentioned about the male lead: I am certain that his "personality" was completely different in the first chapter.
In this second chapter, his "personality" is completely non-existant.

Although, yeah, it could be that the author is trying to to find his characters' voices, but...
A blank-slate male lead is a very common trope in harem, which this thing is supposed to be.
