The nice thing about this manga is that since she's terminally stupid and fucks shit up all the time, even though he's nervous and insecure, he pretty much HAS to be very proactive and persistent or nothing would ever happen, which means that there's always pretty steady progress. Like, it's a loop of, he makes a move, she fucks it up, they resolve the misunderstanding and now they've taken a step forward, rinse repeat. There's no risk of it stagnating in an annoying status quo where both parties are too chickenshit to make any meaningful progress, like in a lot of other romcoms.
