This is the long-term result of cheating. Setsuko has been traumatized by Yukino, and this chapter shows that she will never be the same or trust Yukino ever again. The slap was needed, as Yukino was obviously just going to give a weak "I'm sorry," and expect Setsuko to let it go. When they properly communicated, it was good but bitter. Her using alcohol to run from reality is insanely dangerous, and who knows what could've happened. I guess Yukino, the serious one that is anxious and afraid constantly, is the one that wasn't taking the relationship seriously.

Yukino's excuses are pathetic. The guy is flirting with me, so I'll just pass out drunk in front of him. What? She was lucky that he was a nice guy who did the right thing.

She deserved the slap since she cheated and lied about. I agree with the above comment. Trust was broken in this relationship, so of course Setsuko will feel insecure whenever something like that happens. Yukino is dumb and naive. She really needed a reality check. Stop being stupid, or you'll get dumped

I'm so happy this series is still getting new comments. I come back to this chapter from time to time. I agree that this slap was totally deserved. Setsuko is even being lenient by saying "If this happens again I'm breaking up with you". I would have broken up with her after she slept with that random guy but she is giving her a 3rd chance here.

You deserve better Setsuko, I still love this manga though.
