Nice to see their dynamic isn't as one-sided as it first presented.
Oda is clearly overbearing, but no one is entirely blameless, and Akechi bending over so much makes sense, but it absolutely would mean any potential future for them would be doomed ro toxic failure.
So that moment of clarity for Oda is a good thing, in my book. Shame it was immediately interrupted, but even that offered a moment of change for Akechi, and, well.
That lead to plenty of comedy, which ain't a bad deal.
