instead of bringing Maria every once in a while then kinda just make her vanish when it’s convenient. Out of the 3 times that she reappears, I find the the 2nd one the most acceptable because she doesn’t get hit by smth in the head…

Oda or the Nobunaga persona still treats ryu like craps despite having exclusively said that SHE (the mixed of Maria and Nobunaga) had fallen for him. She is possessive of Ryu (as u could see in the chapter that introduces Date and you’ll see it another chapter in the future) but it doesn’t come from the fact that she loves him but more like she thinks that Ryu is her property. There were a few moments that the current Oda had to confront her current feelings for Ryu too but yeah as you said it is just a circle, Nobunaga’s attitude just remains shitty towards Ryu, claiming that she only kissed him to play around (idk if it’s just some tsundere act LOL). Despite all of that I still like how the story and the main couple dynamics are going so far because Nobunaga has a legit reason to hate on Ryu for life, it’s just that Maria’s feelings get in the way…fyi I finished the manga in 2 days

I mean that’s literally the whole premise of this manga, you can’t really expect her to change in the span of 7 months? (it’s abit after winter break in the manga idrk when the first chapter takes place).

okay 7 months is probably quite a bit of time already but they were mortal enemies in their past life

She’s still slowly changing, her attitude towards Akechi has gotten somewhat better even if it’s not close to a couple or even normal being level. It’s just too subtle compared to Akechi’s developments. So yeah there’s that, feel free to drop it tho
