Presumably some kind of data storage device that she snuck into his hand when she was whipping his arse . . . Less of a dead drop and more of a threatening to kill you drop . . .
I really don't know what I think about this series - it's hard not to like the art, and the dynamic between these two is definitely interesting, but the world-building feels a bit incoherent . . . I do sometimes wonder if there's a bunch of stuff being lost in translation that would help make it more coherent, but at the same time you just have to read a reasonable sample of stuff on a place like scribblehub to realise how many writers struggle with world building (or don't much care about that element of storytelling).
Still, I haven't stopped reading yet . . .
