I can always forgive authors for clearly not knowing how to draw non-human animals or their traits. But, I am SO sick of the 4 ears thing. They should either have human ears, or non-human ears. NOT BOTH. It makes absolutely zero sense, and just illustrates an artist's lack of anatomical understanding, especially since subject art is about drawing from the inside-out. That is, anatomical understanding is fundamental to good subject art. Unless the story clearly illustrates a need or reason for beastkin to have 4 ears, they should NOT also have human ears. So un immersive and disappointing.

Doesn’t matter when it comes to manga logic 😂
Though I do sometimes find the 4 ear thing distracting. I can imagine if they don’t want to have to be thinking of keeping the area where the human ears are covered by hair or whatever (other wise it would look weird considering it’s a human head) they just say to hell with it and give 4 ears.

This started out feeling pretty skeezy, but it became a fairly interesting game of cat and mouse between two people with hidden intentions.
