So a rat suddenly appears with no one noticing just before they escaped? Yeah no I'm calling bull, this was contrived just so the author can get the outcome they wanted. Also cardinal sin of giving a character a backstory just to kill her immediately.

Won't drop it yet but this arc had a terrible ending.
