As for the drinking vinegar part, the brewed black vinegar can be sipped. They're not chugging it.

I'm honestly not a big fan of vinegar at all. My late grandfather used to drink the vinegar in the pickle juice jar and in general yinzers (folks from around my neck of the woods, Pittsburgh, PA) love vinegar in their food. Hell, even the coleslaw on a Primanti's sandwich is vinegar rather than milk based coleslaw... I saw them sipping it and was just instantly transported back to a childhood memory that I just didn't need in my life lol...

In the first place it's just super rude AF to ask to eat the food when Yamaoka explicitly said it's a gift for someone else. Kurita's dumb jealousy aside, the other ladies are also going along with her, and it really grates on me.
