It kinda annoys m that we don't even know what WAS the Ultimate Menu content that they've been working on. It was referenced from time to time that so and so food is worthy of the menu, but I suppose they were intending to reveal the grand spread in the big event.

In the food battles it always seemed like they end up going ahead and craft new creations for each contest. Not just pull up something that was already in the menu and refine it.

Yeah, y'know, when I stumbled upon the anime a couple of years ago (which is what inspired me to find the manga and start doing the TL when I found out that nobody had translated the whole thing), I just assumed that the menu was printed in installments. Even as I've been reading the manga, I thought it was implied that they'd print it up in installments, only to find out they were going to do one big reveal... That just seems wildly inefficient.
