Fried hot sauce egg is pretty good. My mom makes it sometimes

Yeah, I like hot sauce with eggs too, although as I said in the notes, the TL of that was a bit wonky. It came out as "My brother grabbed the sauce instead of the soy sauce"... So, I'm like, "What the hell do I do with that?" I figured just based on context it meant hot sauce rather than like ketchup or something else of that nature. So, that was a guess on my part. Mugiwara will likely have it down when his TL comes out.

Plain "sauce" (ソース) in Kurita's story is referring to Worcestershire sauce. It seems to be the most commonly used "foreign condiment" (especially back in the 80s), so when people say "sauce", they're not likely to mean ketchup or chili or whatever else. It's also a dark brown liquid and looks very similar to soy sauce if you're not paying attention.

The terms does get confusing. I'm sure the tonkatsu sauce was spelled the same. It just doesn't really make sense for it to be other types of condiment in the specific context of "mistaking it for soy sauce".

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll go back in and edit it as soon as I can.
