I will make a guess, the sausages were bad because of additives and preservatives and it's not the "purely crafted meat sausages" from the old times that's made from only real meat and spices, and the casing is artificially made instead of livestock intestines.

Y'know, that's probably a good guess... But you never know... I wonder what was wrong with the beer? (I've not had a beer in 15 years, and even then, I never liked it much) Guess we'll see.

Hmm...Well. We have tasted actual good sausages versus the cheap ones from school lunches. So, yea we know the difference in quality.

Beer wise. It's again...80s Japanese basic beer compared with European craft beers which can mix fruits into them for a fruitier taste.

Either that or it's a geological difference. People of different countries enjoy their sausages and beers differently. Basically like how some enjoy a pint of Guinness
