Also it's very refreshing to see the horse race owner are very forgiving to Yamaoka after that affronting dinner

everyone saw right through his dive, at least ruled no contest too

i reallly dont like liver, i dont think improving the welfare of the animal before hand would make any more palatable to me haha

I know it's for the plot, but they really should've redone the match with more neutral judges.

Toyama in the previous chapter has a point, just because ONE guy is offended doesn't mean the food itself is bad per se. He's a bigshot, but in the end he's just some guy, not a food critic with expertise on meat.

Like, I know not every single item in the menu has to be contested, so I'm sure they can still put the horse meat dishes on the menu, but still.

How can you be "quirky" and "all about meat" when you don't even know the toxins in the liver lol.

I can’t comment on horse liver since sale and distribution of horse meat is illegal here in Pennsylvania after a restaurant in my home city of Pittsburgh called Cure served horse tartare back in 2017 (although eating horse meat is legal to consume still, you’d have to do your own butchering of your own horse)… But liver in general, I don’t like because it always has this metallic taste that grosses me out…
