I guess there's a pattern after all about how scummy Yamaoka's superiors (except for Tanimura, my boy is good through and through), especially Tomii, can be about these "side jobs".

Always being pushy about their own share whenever Yamaoka finds this "side job," or else he'll suffer because the staff isn't supposed to have side gigs. Or when someone like Ohara signs up Yamaoka for fixing something and not giving the proper rewards for Yamaoka in the end, because "personal matters are different from business matters".

Oh yeah, definitely. Ohara got hit hard by Flanderization compared to his earlier portrayal where he seemed fairly reasonable, but Tomii has always been a scumbag. He's just gotten worse.

Also agree on Tanimura. He is the only regularly appearing character that I don't want to punch most of the time.
