Yup. It's a fairly touchy topic and gets into deep politics. I'd considered touching on it in the Gourmet Notes but ultimately chose not to, since I'm worried it'll invite more controversial rather than constructive discussion.

I'll try to focus on only the food facts and culture facts. There are some stories in the future where I'll almost certainly have to touch on the politics, but I'll get there when I get there.
