Dagger used Chloe's real name, right in front of Lord Wakabayashi. (Is Chloe actually saying "Lord", or is she just adding a "san" honorific onto his name?) There is no way Wakabayashi didn't notice him calling Kuroe, by a completely different name. It's suspicious that he didn't react to it. Almost as if he already knows...

Dagger is a highly entertaining, eccentric weirdo. I can't get enough of him. Seeing him bang into the ceiling and then splat on the floor, was funny and satisfying. Dude needs to become the lead singer in some kind of hair metal band in Japan.

We knew previously that Chloe is now middle aged. But I don't remember previous chapters ever stating exactly how old she is. In this chapter, we find out that she is now 51 years old. Holly shit! That sucks balls. If the original Kuroe spent most of his life overweight, that damage is already done. Chloe can mitigate some of it by loosing weight. But her heart and arteries are likely in bad shape. She probably doesn't have many years left to live in this body.

Dagger really fucked her over in a lot of different ways, when he chose this body. If she was just in her 30s, I could see her adapting and eventually thriving in her new body. But not with her being 51 years old. Based solely on her new age, I think that she'll eventually get her old body back, or end up in a much younger body (male or female to be determined).

Lmao Dagger is hilarious xD

Wakabayashi is clueless, he picked up on Degawa but not the Chloe part lol

I think it is -sama, therefore, the Lord prefix.

chloe and kuroe are pronounced the same way in japanese, so wakabayashi just thought dagger was being a lil rude brat not adding a -san lol

and it's "-sama"! i thought using the english equivalents would be nice so it'd feel more like shes from a whole different culture/world, sorry if that was confusing heehee

If they are the same pronunciation in Japanese, then there is no danger.

Lord is something a more European style culture would say; especially nobility. But, it feels out of place, because no one reacts to Chloe using the word. A Japanese person calling another Japanese person Lord, would be strange, and elicite some kind of reaction or awkwardness.

Chloe has Kuroe's memories, and it would make sense that she knows how to use honorifics correctly. And thanks for the explanation, and the translation.

iirc at first some characters did get weirded out with how chloe is talking! which is very ojousama-like (but also sometimes in comedic moments she speaks really gruffly like the actual kuroe that i try to replicate), someone straight out of aristocratic society like you said, but then eventually they got used to it and barely comment on it.. i'd like to think it's bc they're in a game company and they're used to otaku behavior like that hahahah

i did worry about the inconsistency with using jp honorifics for all the other characters exc chloe but for personal preference i think i'll keep it like that! thanks for the feedback though, and it's always fun reading your insights every chapter :>
