What Class is MC though? He works at an Office Job, so probably something that requires decent intelligence points. He's very meek and a bit loser-y, so not strength-based class like Barbarian or Paladin. Probably a Cleric that didn't invest enough points on Wisdom and Perception because he's been doing nothing but low-level grinding for the sake of his family.

He's got INT for sure, and definitely some points in VIT to handle the salaryman debuffs while working.

But WIS is a separate stat from INT for a reason, and our MC isn't old enough to get bonus WIS, nor enough events or experiences or hell lore knowledge to save himself.

He passed the perception check for her behavior being off but has no context beyond that.

has there actually been any indication other than the author drawing them sinisterly or grinning evilly? Like, the flower ring thing seems more like the ex-dad being psycho, rather than the daughter/mother.

Legit this series feels like an experiment to slander characters by doing nothing except change art style when drawing said characters.

I don't have her in my notes. I was thinking about scanning some past chapters to see if I could find her but I don't think I want to waste the time.

That's... not what the chapter says. It's what a lot of people infer, but it could easily be a tradition for them to have dinner on a certain date for the fathers birthday,death etc and order his favorite desert.

She says just wait papa leading everyone to believe some weird reincarnation theory, but she could easily be referring to MC as papa this time and not dead papa, saying just wait and you'll get the child you want.

Or the scheme could be the OG Papa always wished to have a grandchild and their scheme is to grant his spirit that wish asap using MC and the daughter. The whole reincarnation thing seems like a pretty big leap the comments came up with.

Author keeps it very purposefully ambiguous.
