Press F for Kirari-chan
Oh my god you people. There is zero proof Touko or her mom ruined this guys life. Just a bunch of supposition, unfounded projection. I mean the guy is sort of jerk, it seems like he screwed up his life on his own.
Obviously Touko will simply thank Kirari for investigating her stalker and ask, for her safety, that she not do any further digging because there is nothing to find, and we might get another flashback of her life and why things are so much better for her now. But you people blow it way out of proportion "Oh Kirari is in danger! She's about to disappear!" all because she has a habit of engaging in risky behavior like following a random man who upset her friend.
Look, ok sure, one former idol who tried to seduce Touko-chan's new papa had her abusive mom put in prison. You can't tell me that wasn't for the best for her to be taken from her abusive mom and their toxic relationship. I mean ok yes things with the Aunt she was sent to live with weren't the great, but then there was that heart-warming reunion with her #1 fan.
Yet another fluffy, happy moment you people twist into being something horrible.
So now her best friend, looking out for her and trying to figure out who his horrible person who made Touko cry, is being a good friend. And all you people can say is "Oh god Kirari is danger" "Kirari might end up dead" "Kirari's family is going to miss her".
I bet if Touko's mom did some yardwork and rented a woodchipper, you'd be all "Oh no they're never going to find Kirari's body now!".
The "turning point" in Kirari's life is obviously just her realizing she has a knack for investigating and her becoming a P.I. or policewoman.
Seriously. You people read this wholesome, fluffy, feel-good manga about Family and Friendship and always make it into something dark and twisted.

- I bet I can write a chapter with a teenage girl and lots of "doki-doki" in a seinen thriller manga.
- But how?
Girls in your manga go doki-doki due to UwU.
Girls in this manga go doki-doki due to OwO.
We are not the same.
