yes yes and YES! Sahara Mizu's works are amazing at that, and everything else! I can't believe I've slept on this gold mine all this time.
You know, I can definitely see influences from Adachi Mitsuru's works in many manga of this genre (well, genre is a little broad, but more like thematically), but I think Mizu's works show it the clearest.
The little nuances, the subtle facial expressions, the still shots, the sky/environment panels in between, the steady pacing and interesting cliffhangers, the slow but introspective dialogues, and most important of all, the realistic characters.
aaaaaaaaaa, thanks to Mizu sensei, I'm in love with manga again!
