MUTUAL BOND: ESTABLISHED

this was a very sweet quick binge, thanks for handling these chapters up to this point! I'm enjoying Suzu and Majima's dynamic and the spirit encounters a lot so I'll just have to patiently wait for someone else to pick this up 🙏

Thank you for TLing this so far! I really hope someone else will pick it up.

I really enjoy the way Majima's development is handled. Not some big realization, or denying that her saving Suzu meant anything but just "Huh, I guess I do somewhat care about this girl. weird." It feels satisfying while still leaving a lot of room for further development.

Wouldn't getting split in half by a train leave a somewhat traumatic experience? Suzu doesn't seem to have taken any mental damage.

My takeaway based on what we saw was that it was such an instant death (albeit brutal and gory) that she wasn't able to actually remember anything.

The most traumatic experience you can possibly had is where you can seep in the danger and horrid enough that it leave mental scar big enough to where if it get touched the scar would trigger the pain.

Getting shot to the body is traumatic, it's not because of the shot or the wound but it's about the thoutgh of possibility of death scenario.

Experiencing or seeing somebody got halved by train is not really that traumatic if you know the situation is dire, it would be more traumatic if the person halved still retain some life to show the struggle and pain of it so the situation can seep in to all the people involved.

The reverse of this would be like if you wanna kill an annoying bug, for example this one musquito that's been really bothering you non-stop by biting and flying by your head and then you swing your hand so fast it connect and knocking that bug dizzy (still alive tho), then the next step is what you wanna achieve that are :
1. Slap the bug so hard it die, giving you piece of mind about the musquito
2. Torment it by ripping their limbs one by one, giving you piece of mind about the musquito and transfering your pent up hatred to the bug

* Also, Suzu girl seem like too dumb to comprehend anything that might had been bad, and might just shrugg it off as a "bad dream about her dead" cuz she don't know how to cope with supernatural encounter. It's like horror beyond comprehension, that it feel more like a "meh" rather than a horror
