That's a queenly image.

Til is not used being used as a till.

A repeating crossbow. That's about what they would look like. I just don't see how the lever would hook onto the string to reload. I also think the notch at the end of the string slot would wear on the string.

So it's got a magazine rather than manually loading the arrows. That's neat.

Of course he's happier with the crossbow. Money is just money. A toy, I mean, weapon, is fun.

If you look at page 6 when the dude's loading it, the string hooks into a small gap under the magazine assembly, not the lever itself.
This is how it's done IRL (mini version):

Right, that's how it moved. It was a bit unclear since it didn't move as far as it should've when he moved the lever forward, and on the first image there's no line indicating those are two separate pieces of it.

You know how stress relieving firing that machine gun even in games.... especially if the controller vibrates with each ammo.

Repeating crossbows in history had very low penetration power. Even more traditional crossbows were not always better than just a recurve bow. Repeating crossbows of this design I think date back to some ancient Chinese dynasty I cant remember as a civilian weapon they fired in mass while the enemy was riding through the streets in some fortress city. They had barely any power or accuracy but the bolts were typically poisoned so all they had to do was break skin.

I think mythbusters actually did an episode on this and scaled it up to ballista size, but it had significant reliability issues due to the forces involved at that scale.

"its what society is built upon" is such a dumbass weak excuse. If you actually hated slavery you would emancipate the slaves and participate in the slave trade but its convient for him so hes going yo abuse it. If it wasnt obvious this part of the manga pissed me off lol.

I can't believe nobody has said "let me show you its features!" yet.
