Fwiw, they basically said as much in 30.2, where because of an assassination in the past, people would presume any assassination might actually be puppeteered.Just as i'm suspected, one of the reason why puppetry is look down upon, especially in high society, is because its uses in assassination.
it just the usual "class/skill seen as dark art because no one aside the MC know how to use it for fun" plot that many series like to do to make the MC likeableJust as i'm suspected, one of the reason why puppetry is look down upon, especially in high society, is because its uses in assassination.
and with you pfp of course you would be suspectedJust as i'm suspected
To be fair, with how the puppetry magic is shown here, it's a lot more complicated that your basic examplesand with you pfp of course you would be suspected

kind of annoyed with some magic branch being seen as bad because someone use it to assassinate
then don't use fire magic because you will cause a wild forest fire
don't use water magic, you can drown someone
don't use that magic because someone kill someone with it
yeah that's stupid thinking and i don't like it ><
Yea It's why I feel like the real reason is because it's too powerful and not in the right family's hands.and with you pfp of course you would be suspected

That argument falls flat when the most popular magic types are all about warfare. All about preconceived notions and not about actual ability."Isn't it used for assassinations and stuff?"
Why can't you be sneaky with those? They are perfectly comfortable with someone who can make huge fireballs or giant tidal waves because you know what fire and water is and it is very clear who did it.
