She is a viscount AND TOTALLY OUTRANKS the MC who officially has NO TITLE other than being a noble.
The MC is not even a chevalier much less a baron.
So, is the MC's protocol behavior bordering discourtesy to the viscount?
If the story was written with this booby viscount being the MC, then yes.

I crack up every time I see the last pages with the words "All of our members make a great effort to produce elaborate chapters for your enjoyment."

The only aspect of these releases that shows any level of effort is the typesetting, which is decent. I'm almost certain that the rest is MTL with little to no proofreading.
