You’d also think that, now that the world isn’t normal anymore that when someone says they’re a ‘god’ they’d be a little more cautious, especially if they said they lived all their life in a dilapidated shrine in the middle of nowhere that seems to no longer have a population large enough to continue maintaining the local shrine,You'd think that they'd be a lot more interested in the fact that she has actual fox ears and a tail.
So, apparently Shinto never developed in this alternate Japan? They find a kitsune in a shrine and she introduces herself as Inari, says she's a god, has divine power and everyone is just like, "What a little weirdo."
They specified that the first gate appeared 10 years agoThey might not have any records left of Shinto gods as they didn't specify whether Japan was one of the countries that tried to regulate awakened and fell. It could be 100 years from then and have rebuilt as we have no concrete timeline as of yet.
Ah, my bad. They specified that the first gate appeared 10 years ago
She hecking should. She's practically the 2nd coming of christ and nobody took her seriously. She's not going to destroy the beginner dungeon too, is she? Because getting rid of the safer dungeons and leaving the more dangerous ones seems like a really bad idea. It'll just hugely raise the minimum danger for new "awakened." The safest option would be for her to start from the most dangerous dungeons and work her way down to the safest.
