Going by the LN, probably not. In the LN (and WN), the hero's party begins to lose coherence once Flamme leaves, which leads to Eterna leaving, and actually meeting up with Flamme. However, considering the modifications from the W/LN, that may end up not being the case.
It really is different from the novels huh. Honestly Flum facing a chimaira/spiral monster this early is horrifying. I look forward to what else will change in the story hereon.
I read the...WN I want to say, and even machine translated a bunch of it at least to get a rough idea of what's going on. afaik, Eterna ends up fine. Though, it has been a long time since I read it. Then again, this is supposedly mixing up the LN/WN story, but I'd suspect most of the characters end up the same since that'd be a huge deviance.
It’s a little hard to predict with there being only 4 chapters released and the huge gap between chapters one and two, but it seems to have settled into a bimonthly release pattern now. Chapter two was released on the 30th of November, but there’s no new chapter in the listing for the Comic Ride issue due out in the 27th of this month.
Manga reader who can't wait and go read LN while waiting for next manga release here. Really want to express some feeling. Not a big plot spoiler, just some trivial difference.
WHERE IS MY
GENTLE FACE RUBBING
SCENE?! Is what I asked screamingly. But may be it hid in this scene. (Top panels, page 11)
And sorry
Anzu
, the scene LN enemy. May be you are too OP and guro to be in manga so they give us this handsome werewolf instead. Well, I like the handsome werewolf, though.
Anyway, I'd like to encourage people who can't wait to read LN. It's enjoyable and guro and yuri from male author. When you start to think that this will be a story of happy newly wed couple, the author will release his guro power, lol.
Also, this is just my guess, I think manga plot won't be the same as novel since there are some content there that's not suitable for manga.
Such as monster that's hard to draw or the guroness
In the original WN strange mutants begin appearing some time later, and definitely not on her first hunt. It's a shame manga rushed this, to be honest. That Spiral-face was so cool because he came out of the blue, after we saw more generic monsters and got the impression that this story will be in line with more normal fantasy tropes. That whole ordeal was really sudden, creepy and strange.
But, well... flesh-absorbing-chimera that tears it's own added heads is pretty metal though. I'll give it that.
@dokidoki & @Nep: Don't you mean sage? I assume you're talking about the bastard who sold out Flum, because the one member of the hero's party that's been explicitly identified as a mage so far is the long-haired witch girl whom Flum is hoping would help her with Milkit (as in, she hopes that the sage was lying about the party consenting, which we already know he was).
