She's really lucky to be able to get with a guy with a good job, payment and that can put up with her. She's not a quirky anime girl that put on a funny hat just for a gag. Sonoda actually has some serious issues that she herself acknowledges and is called out by other people in-universe. Has pretty low self-esteem every time comparing herself with other women and hoping for the worst.
Of course she's actually pretty and probably due her sister helping her to care of herself even though it looks like Itami was not caring about it in the end but sure it does help for her. But even comparing Sonoda to Omoi from the author's other work, our OL is way less functional than the highschool girl that also had some issues herself.

All in all, it's been a pretty great read and I also wish we could go for more chapters with them as a couple with Itami helping Sonoda be more sociable, more sure of herself, making friends like with the otaku woman, introducing to eachother's families and so on.
