Cats can't be ordered because they don't need to be ordered. They are solitary hunters and do what they need to do alone. They haven't got the faculties for such social behavior. Dogs are pack animals that cooperate in hunting. It's natural for them to look for cues and obey the hierarchy. Otherwise their predecessors would have fared poorly in hunting and suffered hunger. If you need something that follows orders, a dog is thus the choice. That being said, cats can be taught to not do things you don't want them to do. Like jump on tables and such, to the point that jumping on tables in general is not allowed, but there's a single table that's fine, so they aren't totally bereft of reason.
Pretty good development in this chapter. Seems like Arisa's determination to end the relationship when convenient is starting to crack. Who knows about Yuzuru. He has probably already amended his list of demands to perfectly accept Arisa's slight deviation, but otherwise I feel like he wants to be a responsible man and not make things difficult for her. So, if Arisa doesn't suggest they could become a couple for real, Yuzuru probably won't ever say anything.
